FATIGUE, ENERGY & RESILIENCE

A deeper nutritional look when you are tired of feeling tired.

Persistent tiredness can affect every part of life. Sometimes people come to me after routine medical investigations have been reassuring but they still do not feel like themselves and want to explore the nutritional and lifestyle picture in greater depth.

WHEN YOUR TESTS LOOK REASSURING - BUT YOU ARE STILL EXHAUSTED

Fatigue has many possible causes, some of which require medical assessment. If your GP has already investigated your symptoms and no clear medical explanation has been identified, nutritional therapy can provide a structured way to review factors that may be relevant to your day-to-day nutritional wellbeing.

I look at eating patterns, overall energy and protein intake, dietary variety, hydration, sleep, stress, movement, digestion, medications, health history and relevant existing results. The aim is not to diagnose a hidden cause, but to identify practical nutritional or lifestyle areas that may deserve attention.

If anything in your history or symptoms suggests that further medical review is appropriate, I will encourage that rather than trying to manage it through nutritional therapy alone.

Areas we may explore

+ Overall energy and protein intake

+ Meal timing and eating patterns

+ Dietary variety and micronutrient intake

+ Hydration

+ Sleep and recovery

+ Stress and lifestyle load

+ Movement and recovery from exercise

+ Digestive wellbeing

+ Relevant existing blood results and medical history

A PERSONALISED APPROACH

We build a realistic plan around your current capacity. Recommendations are personalised and reviewed over time rather than assuming that one diet, supplement or test explains fatigue for everyone.

PRIVATE TESTING & SUPPLEMENTS

Where appropriate, private functional or nutritional testing may be discussed if it is relevant and likely to add useful information to your nutritional plan. Supplement recommendations may also be considered where there is a clear nutritional rationale, taking account of diet, health history, medications and other relevant factors. Neither testing nor supplements are presented as a way to diagnose or treat a medical condition.

WHEN MEDICAL INPUT IS IMPORTANT

New, persistent, severe or worsening symptoms may require medical assessment. Nutritional therapy works alongside appropriate medical care and does not replace diagnosis, monitoring or treatment from your GP, consultant or other healthcare professional.
