WOMEN'S HEALTH & HEALTHY AGEING

Feel stronger. Support your health. Age with confidence.

Your body changes throughout life - but feeling tired, uncomfortable, frustrated with your weight or disconnected from yourself doesn't have to become your new normal.

I provide personalised nutritional therapy for women navigating perimenopause, menopause and the years beyond, as well as women who simply want to invest in their future health and age with greater strength, energy and confidence.

Rather than focusing on one symptom in isolation, we'll look at the bigger picture - your nutrition, lifestyle, health history, hormones, metabolic health, muscle, bone health, sleep, stress and the factors that may be influencing how you feel.

WHEN YOU HAVE HAD TESTS - BUT STILL HAVE QUESTIONS

You may already have spoken to your GP, had routine blood tests or been given a diagnosis such as a thyroid or hormonal condition, yet still feel that the day-to-day picture has not been fully explored.

My role is not to re-diagnose a medical condition or suggest that your doctor has missed something. I look at your situation through a nutritional and lifestyle lens - including your diet, nutrient intake, sleep, stress, digestion, movement, health history, medications and existing results - to identify areas where personalised nutritional support may be useful.

Where appropriate, we can also discuss private functional or nutritional testing if it is likely to provide additional information that would genuinely influence your nutritional strategy. If symptoms need further medical investigation, I will encourage you to return to your GP or relevant clinician.

This can be especially valuable in the grey area between having a diagnosis or reassuring investigations and still not feeling like yourself.

You may have noticed that the things that used to work for your health no longer seem to work in quite the same way.

+ Your weight or body composition has changed.

+ Your energy isn't what it used to be.

+ You're experiencing perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms.

+ You're finding it harder to maintain muscle and strength.

+ Your sleep has become disrupted.

+ You feel less resilient to stress.

+ You're worried about bone health or your future health.

+ You're eating 'well' but still don't feel as good as you think you should.

+ You've received conflicting advice and aren't sure what your body actually needs.

+ You want to take a proactive approach to ageing rather than waiting for problems to develop.

You don't need to tick every box. Your health is individual, and that's exactly how we'll approach it.

HEALTHY AGEING IS ABOUT MORE THAN LIVING LONGER

For me, healthy ageing isn't simply about adding years to life. It's about supporting the health, strength and independence that allow you to enjoy those years.

Nutrition and lifestyle can play an important role in supporting muscle, bone health, metabolic health, cardiovascular health, energy and overall wellbeing as we get older.

The aim isn't perfection or trying to stop ageing. It's about giving your body the nutritional and lifestyle support it needs to help you stay strong, capable and resilient.

Areas we may work on:

+ Perimenopause and menopause nutrition

+ Hormonal health and changing nutritional needs

+ Energy and resilience

+ Healthy weight and body composition

+ Metabolic and blood sugar health

+ Protein intake and muscle preservation

+ Strength and healthy movement

+ Bone health

+ Digestive health

+ Sleep and recovery

+ Stress and lifestyle factors

+ Nutrient status

+ Cardiovascular health and healthy ageing

+ Sustainable habits for long-term wellbeing

A PERSONALISED APPROACH - NOT JUST ANOTHER GENERIC MENOPAUSE PLAN

Two women of the same age can experience completely different symptoms and have completely different nutritional needs.

That's why I won't hand you a generic menopause diet or a long list of foods you're no longer allowed to eat.

We'll start with your health story, your symptoms, your medical history, your current diet, your lifestyle and what you want to achieve. From there, we'll create a practical strategy that's tailored to you and realistic for your life.

PRIVATE TESTING, WHERE APPROPRIATE

Sometimes your symptoms and health history suggest that further information could be useful.

Where appropriate, I can recommend private functional and nutritional testing to help us build a more detailed picture of your individual health needs. The Transformational Programme includes one functional test; in other programmes, any testing recommended would be discussed separately.

Testing isn't automatically required and I don't recommend tests simply for the sake of testing. I'll only suggest them when I believe the information could genuinely help guide your personalised nutritional strategy.

If you already have recent GP, consultant or private test results, these can also be considered as part of the wider picture, within my professional scope.

PERSONALISED SUPPLEMENT ADVICE

Supplements can be useful in some circumstances, but they should complement a strong nutritional foundation rather than replace it.

Where appropriate, I can provide evidence-informed supplement recommendations tailored to your individual needs, taking into account your diet, health history, medications and other relevant factors.

The aim is targeted, appropriate support - not an unnecessary cupboard full of supplements.
